• Vanilla grass as a low management turf species
• Studying sand bluestem for ornamental characteristics
• Evaluation of grasses and native forbes in Chicago area test sites
• Evaluation of grasses and management systems to vegetate landfills

CES/ OUTREACH

I am currently the Extension Specialist in Turfgrass. I work as an advisor, newsletter editor, and education program coordinator to the Illinois Turfgrass Foundation. I am involved in problem solving in turfgrass for the turfgrass foundation for both level turf problems. I routinely write for and speak to commercial and homeowner audiences about turf management and care.
