Turfgrass Species
This program is an introduction to grass species commonly used as turfgrasses. Their morphological characteristics, intended function, areas of adaptation, and suggestions of their best management are presented in three major parts.
A turf grass species tour will introduce you to each grass presenting its range of adaptation.
A second part, planning turf establishments , will allow you to plan for the establishment or renovation of various turfs.
When you have finished exploring the first two sections of the lesson, the quiz section will ask you answer randomly selected questions. The quiz reinforces the information presented in this lesson and on turfgrass species and their general characteristics.
